Lynn Wyatt In Leather
Lynn Wyatt channels a James Bond girl in a hot leather gown from German design house
Leave it to fashion icon Lynn Wyatt to come up with the perfect outfit for a James Bond-themed evening — a black leather gown, yes gown, by German design house Talbot Runhof.
"To wear an evening gown in black leather, isn't it great?" Lynn said. "It's got just the right feel for a Bond girl."
Actually, Talbot Runhof (the Munich-based duo native Tennessean Johnny Talbot and German-born Adrian Runhof) linked up with Wyatt last November when they were in town to show their collection at Fashion Houston and she invited them for tea at her home.
And what could be more perfect for Mercury's "Mercury Royale" gala on stage at Wortham Theater Center?
"To wear an evening gown in black leather, isn't it great?" Lynn said. "It's got just the right feel for a Bond girl."
Lynn accessorized with the bejeweled belt and gilded dagger, which had been sitting on her library desk. To dress it up, she said, "I took some of the Chanel things that Karl (Lagerfeld) has given me and put it on the dagger." Thus, the stylet was dazzling with several strands of Chanel pearls. Sweet.
The Talbot Runhof flagship store is in Munich and the label can be found at Neiman Marcus.
