Jerry Built Expands
Memorial City expansion of popular burger joint just the start of explosive growth
The members of the Facebook group Memorial Area Eats will have a new burger joint to try in March. Jerry Built Homegrown Burgers has announced that it will open its third location near Memorial City Mall in a newly constructed building at 10405 Katy Freeway.
With locations already in Bellaire and The Woodlands, Jerry Built is known for its use of locally-sourced ingredients that diners can see being prepared via a glassed-in kitchen. The Memorial location will bring the company's family-friendly concept to another growing area of Houston.
The company opened two locations in 2012 but now has plans to grow far more quickly. Looking toward the future, CEO and president Chad Glauser said in a statement that company plans to quadruple the number of Jerry Built locations over the next four years.
“I wanted to create an atmosphere that was not only inviting but also innovative,” Glauser added. “Customers should feel at home here and confident about what they’re feeding their children and putting into their bodies.”
