You may not know the person, but you know you know the object on her head.

It's been almost two weeks since the royal wedding, and the ensuing fuss continues to nab headlines. This week, it's that squiggly, supernaturally situated hat perched precariously from Princess Beatrice of York's forehead — which, understandably, the Brits call a "fascinator."

And it could be yours, if the price is right.

You heard correctly. In an everyday eBay auction (how plebeian of the monarchy!), the most ridiculed accessory at the royal wedding is up for grabs.

"She's putting it up on eBay to auction it for UNICEF and for Children in Crisis," Duchess Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice's mom, revealed on Wednesday afternoon's Oprah. The formidable Philip Treacy fascinator currently only has one bid — at a cool $8,300.00.

Let's pin a rose on the nose of Princess Beatrice for her generosity, shall we? We suppose that's why they say one royal's trash is another commoner's treasure.
