The Big Bangs Theory: Bush and Obama unite for bipartisan hairstyle that crosses party lines
NEW YORK — Republicans and Democrats in Congress are at each other's throats. But at least there is bipartisan agreement in the country over one trend: Bangs.
It seems like nearly every stylish woman, regardless of her political affiliation, is on the fringe with the new hairstyle.

Michelle Obama surprised the nation when she appeared with bangs on her 49th birthday in January. Her hairstyle was commented on at her husband's inauguration, where it was immortalized in photos of his swearing-in and at the inaugural balls.
At the Prabal Gurung fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Saturday, former first daughter Barbara Bush (her parents are George W. and Laura), was on the first row with the her own new "big bangs" look. The 31-year-old founder of the Global Health Corps publicly debuted her new hairstyle at a New York fundraiser for the Human Rights Campaign in support of gay marriage earlier this month.
Other celebs on the bang trend: model Karlie Kloss, Taylor Swift and Zooey Deschanel, who coincidentally shares the same birthday as the first lady — Jan. 17.
One person who's been wearing bangs before it was cool to do so: Vogue magazine editor Anna Wintour, who has worn her trademark bob-with-bangs for as long as anyone can remember.
