Rothko Chapel will host internationally renowned American pianist Andy Tendler for a concert. The program will include works by Nico Muhly, Earle Brown, Marina Poleukhina, Charlie Sdraulig, Morton Feldman and Philip Glass.
Tendler has performed solo recitals in across the U.S., including engagements at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, National Sawdust, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Baryshnikov Arts Center, the Maverick Concert Hall and the Fisher Center at Bard College. He was also the first musical performer at James Turrell's Skypace in Sarasota Florida. He has been praised by the Los Angeles Times, the New Yorker, Time Out New York and the Baltimore Sun.
