Beloved Greek restaurant expands again with new plans for big Energy Corridor space
Fresh off opening its third location in a Pearland H-E-B, beloved Greek restaurant Niko Niko's is expanding again. Owner Owner Dimitri Fetokakis announced Monday that the company has signed a lease on a 6,000 square foot space next to the Houston Community College Spring Branch campus at the corner of I-10 and the Sam Houston Tollroad.
The former Chili's will be completely remodeled with plans to expand seating and add a patio.
"We are excited about this expansion opportunity in a highly visible location, which allows us to be involved with the growing Houston Community College student population, as well as the nearby Energy Corridor and Memorial City along I-10 West,” Fetokakis said in a statement. “We are very fortunate to have customers from all over Houston visit us at our original location in Montrose and feel the considerable demand for a Niko Niko’s in West Houston."
The former Chili's will be completely remodeled with plans to expand seating and add a patio. A section of the space will be devoted to showcasing the restaurant's signature pastries. The company hopes to have the renovations completed for a spring 2015 opening.
As for the menu, expect a full selection of Niko Niko's favorites: gyros, chicken soup, and, of course, the essential lemon potatoes.
