St. Luke's Foundation supporters have a cool time at Aspen social in Houston couple's home

The 411: Kevin Lofton, CEO of Catholic Health Initiatives, welcomed guests to the cocktail buffet where presentations were given on new developments in stem cell research by Doris Taylor, PhD, director of Regenerative Medicine Research at Texas Heart Institute, and on the Baylor College of Medicine Lung Institute at Baylor St. Luke’s given by Dr. David Sugarbaker, medical director of the institute. Dr. Jim Willerson, director of Cardiology Research and co-director of the Cullen Research Laboratories at THI at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, discussed the alliance between CHI St. Luke’s Health, THI and Baylor College of Medicine.
