An artful presentation celebrates the Jung Center and philanthropic couple
What: The Jung Center spring benefit, "The Pleasure of Art: Why We like What We Like."

The 411: Melanie Gray and Mark Wawro chaired the evening that raised $205,000 for the center and honored Ellen and Steve Susman. Guest speaker Dr. Paul Bloom, Yale professor of psychology and author, spoke on art, pleasure and what influences what we like. Steve Susman is a Yale graduate and recently made a major gift to the Yale University Art Gallery while Ellen Susman was recently appointed director of Art in Embassies by President Barack Obama. A special treat for attendees was a display of artworks by Roberta Harris and Kitty Rabinow, both of whom have shown at the Jung Center.
