Snoop Dogg teams up with Texas company on new line of buzzy hemp drinks
Snoop Dogg is lending his name to a line of hemp-based drinks.
From the class of hip-hop giants who cut their teeth in the ‘90s, no one does it better than Snoop Dogg. The Death Row Records star is a certifiable mogul and his latest venture is partnering on a line of hemp-infused beverages.
Called Do It Fluid, it's from Snoop and San Antonio-based company Hill Beverage Co., and features fizzy drinks containing THC and CBD with doses that are legal under U.S. Federal Farm Bill of 2018.
They're available in four flavors:
- Blue raspberry
- Blood orange
- "Peaches ‘n’ Honies”
- Cherry limeade
According to a release, the drinks are made with natural sugars and fruit juices, and are designed to appeal to both traditional cannabis users and novices.
They're available in a 12-ounce CBD-only version for $4.99, or a punchier eight-ounce version with Delta-9 and THC blends for $5.99.
The brand promises an alternative to smoking without sacrificing the high, representing another step in a more "smokeless" direction for Snoop, who recently made headlines with a gimmick around quitting smoking.
