Gold medalist of the Fifteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, 28-year-old pianist Yekwon Sunwoo is a powerful and virtuosic performer who, in his own words, “strives to reach for the truth and pure beauty in music,” and hope to convey those fundamental emotions to audiences.

The program will include Schumann Variations on an Original Theme in E flat major Geistervariationen WoO24 (c. 11 mins), Schumann Fantasie Op. 17 (30 mins), Liszt 3 Concert Etudes S.144 (c. 22 mins), and Schubert Four Impromptus D.935 (c. 35 mins).
