Shinjini Kulkarni, a renowned Kathak dancer from the esteemed ninth generation of the Kalka Bindadin lineage, is the granddaughter of the legendary Kathak Maestro, Pt. Birju Maharaj. Her journey in Kathak began at the age of five, when she started learning under the expert guidance of her grandfather.
