The Houston Landing newsroom will host an evening of games, poetry, stories, and civic action as they celebrate the power of each Houstonian’s voice and vote.

Featuring legendary rapper and award-winning restaurateur Bun B, poet Ebony Stewart, former mayor Annise Parker, muralist Caroline Truong, experts from the Kinder Institute for Urban Research, and neighbors who care about the issues driving the November Mayoral election, this event is designed to educate, entertain and give people an emotional experience that inspires action or insight.

Immediately following the show, the League of Women Voters, Mi Familia Vota, and others will host tables where attendees can sign up to volunteer, donate and learn more about how to participate in the election and how to solve some of Houston's most pressing issues.
