Houston Food Bank’s f.r.e.s.h. young professionals, in partnership with IKEA Houston, are presenting Hunger Dinner, an eye-opening event on the reality of hunger. The event is also a fundraiser for Houston Food Bank.
The dinner is intended to raise awareness of the issue of hunger, especially in Houston. Participants will draw a ticket that randomly assigns them to an income level. Attendees will receive a meal that represents their income tier. The event will be followed by a reception with dinner provided by IKEA.
