The 411: With chairs Rachael and Jason Volz at the helm and Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. John Culberson in the ballroom, it was one heck of a night for JDRF supporters, a night that brought in $1.3 million for Type 1 diabetes research and education. The evening honored long-time JDRF supporters Meredith Cocke, Judy Haley, Melinda Rose and Carol Rowley as well as Amegy Bank of Texas, which was corporate honoree.
Who: Partying amid the garden-like decor orchestrated by A Fare Extraordinaire were Rachel and Tom Regan, Audrey and Brandon Cochran, Katie Flaherty, Isabel and Danny David, Luvi and Carlos Wheelock, Valerie and Tracy Dieterich, Audrey and Brandon Cochran and Christie and Billy McCartney.
