At the menswear specialty retailer's recent annual shareholders meeting near San Francisco, Zimmer said the new app will store customer's sizes and preferences. It will even include a phone answering message from the executive, whose distinctive voice and tag line is featured in television commercials.
"We're going to start to have fun," Zimmer said, referring to the possibilities of the mobile phone app, according to Women's Wear Daily.
Currently, less than five percent of the chains' $1.9 billion in annual sales comes from e-commerce. No word yet on when the app will be available. We'll keep you posted.
