Film director Wes Anderson, a Houston native, has no trouble attracting stars to his works.
Deadline reports that Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand and Tilda Swinton are all in talks to star in his next feature, Moon Rise Kingdom. Sounds like a dream cast to me.
The story is set in the sixties and is about two young adults who fall in love and run away together. Leaders in the town are afraid they have disappeared and set out to search for them. This being a Wes Anderson flick, it gets more complicated and quirkier from there.
Anderson, known for Rushmore (shot in Houston) and last year's Fantastic Mr. Fox, co-wrote the script with Roman Coppola who also co-wrote The Darjeeling Limited with Anderson. Production is slated for sometime next spring and Anderson will direct.
