George W. still mum on using Clinton as his Haiti dishtowel (with can't miss video)

During George W. Bush and Bill Clintons' recent joint visit to Haiti, W. was spotted wiping his hand on Clinton's shirt after shaking hands with a crowd of Haitians. What was meant to be a publicity stunt for W's empathy has unravelled into more Internet fuel for Kanye West's charge that Bush just isn't that into black people.

The wipe between ex-presidents comes with a bit of precedent: In his 2008 book, Audacity of Hope President Obama recounted his first meeting with W. in 2006, and the former president's immediate use of hand sanitizer after an Obama shake.

Had Bush attended our swanky launch party, he would have had the option of utilizing the sleek CultureMap hand salve rather than Clinton's silky sleeve. When approached by the Chicago Sun-Times about the Haiti slip-up, Bush spokesman David Sherzer simply offered a "No comment."

It remains to be seen whether W. was trying avoid swine flu, get his hands on Monica Lewinsky's sloppy seconds, build on his umbrella relationship with Clinton or just ward off catastrophe cooties. In any case, this video's gone viral:
