Barack Obama is roaring into Texas to mingle with Hollywood stars and take over a historic theater

President Barack Obama is coming to Texas this week for some high profile, big money events.
He'll start in Dallas on Wednesday for a fundraising barbecue at the home of prominent attorney Marc Stanley (tickets — $10,000 per person). Obama will also attend fundraising events in Austin on Wednesday and Thursday. As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Texas filmmaker Robert Rodriguez will host the first event on Wednesday night at his Austin home.
Tickets for the Rodriguez-hosted fundraiser range from $5,000 to $32,400. Jessica Alba, Demi Lovato, Rosario Dawson and Danny Trejo are slated to make appearances at the event, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The president will stay overnight in Austin and appear at a Thursday morning fundraiser and roundtable discussion hosted by Aimee Boone Cunningham at her home. Cunningham serves as the assistant secretary of the Center for Reproductive Rights. Tickets for this event are $32,400.
The highlight of the Texas trip (at least for the non-Hollywood set) figures to be a Thursday afternoon appearance at Austin's historic Paramount Theatre where Obama will talk about the economy. This event's free and open to the public.
Tickets will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the 320-seat Paramount's box office.
