Mellow Mushroom
A family pizza place with a rare flair for the subversive, Mellow Mushroom's colorful, tongue-in-cheek tribute to drug culture is unoffensive and simply adorable. Paintings idolize Godzilla monsters, a wet-and-Willy Nelson installation kayaks onto the scene, and mycelium murals hover over the bar area. The pizza offerings are similarly wondrous, offering huge portions of pies and calzones with a crust too delicious to waste.
