Orangetheory Fitness, a popular national exercise program, has arrived in Houston with a challenging but fun 60-minute workout session split into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training. Members work out in groups of 24 at the most, splitting the time between a treadmill and strength training while wearing a heart monitor that displays target heart rate and workout intensity on a big screen TV. A personal trainer leads the group through the workout and exercisers receive feedback in person and by email, with a graph of workout results, to track their progress.
