This park between Taft and Sabine streets is one of the prettiest along the green stretch of Buffalo Bayou, with the city skyline as a dramatic backdrop, and is the site of the city's official Fourth of July festivities every year. Named after a long-time city councilwoman who crusaded to beautify our city, the park has a boat launch, a children's playground, picnic benches and nature trails.
