The Hay Merchant
Known for their obsessive attention to details like glassware, temperature of said beer, selection of rare and cask beers and a focus on craft beer education, Kevin Floyd's Hay Merchant is truly one of the best places to grab a brew. The beer isn't the only star, however. Sharing butchery space with Chris Shepherd's Underbelly, which is located on the other half of The Hay Merchant's building, makes the bar food worth a trip all by itself.
The crispy pig ears have become a must-have dish alongside a cold pint of ale. And with chef Erin Smith as their newly-assigned culinary director, you can be sure that the food here will stand up to the craft beer selection.
