This small, Main St. hangout plays host to blues, punk, country and blow-out-the-amplifiers-rock music. And the people do come here for the music, as Continental Club is short on frills save for a bar and space to dance. There’s always a good mix of party-loving people (thanks, in part, to bouncers who are not shy about escorting the inebriated-and-obnoxious out the door) and sometimes there’s barbecue grilling on the sidewalk for those who have empty stomachs to fill before they start downing drinks. You’d have to try hard to have a bad time here.
We never leave without stopping at Tacos A Go-Go next door. Make sure and keep up with the revolving live music acts, and ride the light rail there to avoid parking trouble.
