The fourth annual Triumph of the Human Spirit: Work from Houston’s Refugee & Immigrant Artists is an art show and auction that celebrates the talents of former immigrant and refugee artists that now call Houston home. The event will showcase the unique perspective of the artists, who will be on hand to discuss how their journey to Houston has influenced their work.

While talking with the artists and learning about the pieces, enjoy hors d-oeuvres curated specially for this event by Executive Chef Dominic Lee of Poitin. Patrons will have the opportunity to bid on the artwork during the silent auction. Proceeds from the art sales will be shared evenly between the artists and YMCA International Services where it will be used to support programming designed to help immigrants, refugees and other vulnerable individuals in Houston.
