For 30 years, Volunteer Houston has recognized Houston's outstanding volunteers through the Greater Houston Service Awards. Area nonprofits are encouraged to nominate a volunteer in one of 10 categories. From there, a panel of community judges decide on the winners from each category. Jim McIngvale will deliver a keynote speech on volunteerism and Melanie Lawson and Greg Hurst will emcee the event.
