Society for the Performing Arts first debuted French pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet in 1990. Famous for his red socks while seated at the keyboard, Thibaudet has the rare ability to combine poetic musical sensibilities with dazzling technical prowess. Thibaudet's return to Houston will feature an all-Debussy program including: Preludes: Deuxieme Livre, Edition Originale (Book 2); Suite Bergamasque; Estampes; and L'isle joyeuse.
