Some Truths to Learn from Leaves is an exhibition of work by Elinor Evans. A selection of new collages made with found leaves and paper and some with stitching will be included in the exhibition as well as weavings and baskets from the artist's personal collection.
The exhibition is in conjunction with several special events organized by the Rice University School of Architecture that celebrate the life and work of Professor Emeritus Elinor Evans of Rice University during her centennial year through exhibitions, publications and the creation of a freshman scholarship fund in her name.
Proceeds from the exhibition will fund the Elinor Evans Centennial Scholarship for the Rice University School of Architecture.
