The 43rd Annual South Montgomery County Fourth of July Parade features a United We Stand theme led by Grand Marshall and local philanthropist Christine Clinkenbeard of The Woodlands and Grand Marshall Lt. Commander Charles Michael Abell, (retired) U.S. Navy with marching bands, fire engines, clowns, horses and floats along with appearances from local dignitaries. The Texas Army National Guard 1-133D Field Artillery, 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team along with the College Park Marine Corps Junior ROTC and other military families will participate in this year’s parade. Marching bands include students from The Woodlands College Park High School, The Woodlands High School, S.P. Waltrip High School, Willis High School and Hempstead High School. More than 8,000 guests who will line the streets and enjoy the parade, which makes its way through Market Street.
