This Lone Star Symphonic Band concert will feature works by American composers, including selections written about American subject matters. The program includes Sabres and Spurs March, Elegy for a Young American, Victory at Sea, Overture to Candide, God Bless America, A Festival Prelude, American Folk Rhapsody and Prelude, Siciliano and Rondo.
The Lone Star Trombone Choir and Lone Star Big Band will perform as well. The Lone Star Dixieland Band will perform out in the foyer for 30 minutes prior to the concert.
