Aimed at teaching children the value of courage, the Houston Symphony puts on a delightful family concert featuring favorite tunes from The Lion King where the protagonist takes on the villain right on stage. Also on the concert program is the all-time family orchestral favorite Peter and the Wolf. Showing off the different instruments of the orchestra, children will be exposed to the different timbers and characteristics of the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, strings and percussion through Peter's trials, tribulations and adventures.
