The Houston Latin American Philharmonic presents its annual Viva Latin America to celebrate with the highest honors the Hispanic Heritage Month. The program will include Besame Morenita, Huella y Gato, Guayaquil de mis Amores, El Condor Pasa, as well as tributes to Selena and Hugo Blanco.
The Houston Latin Phil is the only professional orchestra in the United States that presents full programs of Latin American music. The orchestra is led by Venezuelan maestro Glenn Garrido.
