September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and for the bravest kids in Houston, The Health Museum will be hosting More Precious Than Gold. Since the colors of Pediatric Cancer are gold, we will have special guests (10 Golden Retriever Therapy Dogs), face painters, great music, tons of great food and a car bash.

Museum Guests will be given the opportunity to "put a dent in cancer" as they swing the sledgehammer at a car. Special guest speaker David Johnson, whose son beat malignant brain cancer with the help of Texas Children's Hospital, will be kicking off the event with his heartwarming story of heartache, struggle, pain, and eventual victory and his realization through it all, that the people of Houston are good.
