Flatland Gallery presents Ernesto Marenco: "hair" opening reception

eventdetail

Ernesto Marenco’s “hair.” features new works containing a hybrid of individual objects and installation that explores the relationship between organic material and surreal mutant artifacts. Marenco’s work draws attention to the mysterious and uncanny elements of hair.

Marenco’s intent is to evoke a dark environment, with an art-science connotation using human, animal and synthetic hair as an element of artistic expression. He draws attention to the intimate nature of the unknown yet familiar objects altering our perspective of an element as beautiful and close to ourselves as our own hair.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until December 8.
