Center for Success and Independence presents Bejeweled - Going Places Gala
The Center for Success and Independence will present the 7th annual Bejeweled charity fundraiser. All money raised from ticket sales, auctions and sponsorships for Bejeweled - Fresh Start directly fund TCSI's scholarship program that extends treatment for teenagers who need help beyond what the state or their family's insurance provides.
The Honorary Chair will be Lauren Anderson, a former principal dancer at Houston Ballet who currently serves in Houston Ballet's Education and Community Engagement program where she conducts master classes at area schools, and lectures to students on dance and her historic career as one of America's most distinguished African-American ballerinas.
Founded in 1999 by renowned psychotherapist Robert Woods, M.Ed., and his partner, Marylou Erbland, Ph.D., the Center for Success and Independence is a Houston-based residential and intensive outpatient treatment program for kids aged 12 to 17 whose psychological and emotional disorders, addictions and/or history of trauma have impaired their behavioral functioning and adversely impacted their everyday home, school and community environments.
