The Center for the Healing of Racism in partnership with Houston Community College presents the second of its six-part series “A Way Forward: Dismantling Institutional Racism." HCC Sociology Instructor Michael Ayers will present a review of racist ideology and discuss its effect on identity and how it helps to uphold institutional racism.
Mr. Ayers, a native Texan, has been active in the fight against Institutional Racism and White Supremacy for the past 29 years. The program will include breakout sessions for discussion and dialogue.
