CultureMap and Frost Bank will be on hand at Discovery Green for opening night of the latest GONZO247 Optimism Lounge. There will be Call Me Optimistic interactive chalkboards, a poet writing personalized haikus, juices from JuiceLand, swag, and more.
The Texas Optimism Project and Houston artist GONZO247 are launching a series of pop-up Optimism Lounges across downtown Houston. From August-October 2019, colorful Optimism Lounges will be installed at Jones Plaza, Discovery Green, and Market Square. Each lounge contains unique messages of optimism and encourages Houstonians to explore downtown and take breaks for a more optimistic view on life. The Texas Optimism Project is a sponsored partnership between Texas Monthly and Frost Bank’s Opt for Optimism initiative.
