Art Opening Reception: CTRL group two

Many events have been canceled or postponed due to coronavirus concerns. Please check with the organization before going to any event.
CTRL group two

CTRL group two is an exhibition marking the gallery's five-year anniversary. Alternately titled "Cut and Hung," the show includes artists that conform to a simple set of parameters: They are all men and they all work with photographic collage.

The exhibition coincides with an exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Curated by Yasufumi Nakamori, Utopia/Dystopia: Construction and Destruction in Photography and Collage is a sprawling yet contained museum show that explores the rich history of cutting and collaging photography. CTRL group two includes several of the same artists as Utopia/Dystopia (Josh Bernstein, Heimir Björgúlfsson, David Dupuis) though with a much narrower focus.

On view through May 19.
