4th Wall Theatre Company presents a newly devised work with Disturbing The Peace:A Theatrical Poetry Experience.
Lights. Camera. SPIT. This is not your typical poetry show. Disturbing The Peace brings the words of your favorite poet’s favorite poet to the stage in an imaginative fusion of performance, storytelling, and verse. Now you can not only hear the spoken word, but experience the visual of each word’s hard-hitting truth. This show will challenge the standard, creating a new soapbox to tell a different kind of story.
Coming straight from his successful run as Junior in Between Riverside and Crazy, Joe Palmore steps back onto the 4th Wall stage to explore a new kind of theatre...and this time with a director’s cap. Along with Artistic Director Philip Lehl, Palmore tosses the mike to a cohort of Houston performers and poets who will spend two nights exploring a full spectrum of human emotion through a kaleidoscope of topics such as racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, family drama, and more.
