The vibrant Nigerian community is ready to shake and bring their over-the-top fashion sense to Downtown Houston. The 3rd Annual Nigeria Cultural Parade & Festival will feature masquerades representing various tribes that will be in full force in the parade and featured at City Hall during the entire month of September in the Rotunda. Akwa Entertainment will present the Ekombi dance, a graceful dance of peace and happiness.

Wazobia African Market, the largest African store in the state of Texas will be bringing a taste of home. Spectators will enjoy on the most cultural exports of Nigeria, the Jollof rice, and peppered suya will be making its rounds in the park.
