As celebrity guest at the opening night party for Intermix in River Oaks District, actress Leven Rambin wore a Kate Spade "Just Married" T-shirt and a Timo Weiland fringed skirt, a nod to the designer who is one of her BFFs and who is carried exclusively by the hip clothing boutique which has arrived in Houston.
The Houston native allowed that she couldn't wear the gilded "Just Married" T-shirt much longer. The True Detective actress was wed to True Blood's Jim Parrack on Saturday at Le San Michele in Buda, Texas, and she figured that this week was as long as she could justify it.
People Magazine posted the wedding on line on Sunday. And, yes, Weiland, was in the wedding party.
Back at Intermix, DJ Kalkutta spun the discs while servers from A Fare Extraordinare circulated through the hip crowd offering champagne and hors d'oeuvres.
The night's focus was on Rambin and Parrack and hostesses with the mostess Lucinda Loya and Melissa Mithoff. Though few among the youthful fashionista mix would resist the cool weather Intermix offerings.
Rambin was joined by her brother, Joe Rambin, and by her mother, Karen Rambin. Also in the close family clutch was Joe's squeeze Elizabeth Lawrie.
Store manager Nicole Robinson welcomed the energized throng that included Vicky Sosa, Taylor Crowley, Tatiana Green, Rocky Mafrige, Michael Broderick, Lauren Farina, Michael Pearson, Gema Banks, Leslie Sharp, Dr. Michael Yafi, Javania White and Yendi Thompson.
