Publicist Tiffany Halik is always a standout with her dark hair, fair skin and beguiling green eyes, but on this night at the "Love's in Fashion" benefit, in the middle of a very tony crowd, she stood out all glam and all affordable.
She dressed up her heart-embellished silk frock, Versace for H&M, with a fab necklace by Deepa Gurnani, a find t Anthropologie. She stepped out in Sam Edelman pumps from Nordstrom and carried a Halston East West Clutch from Cakewalk Style Shop. Her tights were DKNY Opague from Nordstrom.
The perfect look for a little night music at Tootsies.
When the Latin Women's Initiative group gathered at Tootsies to stir up excitement for the non-profit's spring luncheon, we found numerous women of Latin heritage stepping out in high style. Alex Blair, a native of Brazil was among them. We liked her casual yet sophisticated look.
For this stay-at-home mother of two, the Galleria is her go-to destination for wardrobe needs. For this gathering, she wore a colorful dress from BCBG and Stuart Weitzman shoes. Her bracelets were David Yurman and her handbag from Dior. All purchased at the Galleria.
She emailed, "I am passionate about fashion and love to coordinate colors."
We've never seen Prestige Builders Inc. owner Monsour Taghdisi look anything other than dashing so, of course, he caught our eye at the Best Dressed announcement party held in the couture salon of Neiman Marcus in the Galleria.
Amid the bevy of well-heeled women and men in traditional dark suits, Monsour stood out for his fashion forward approach to the evening.
"I try wearing clothes that fit all aspects of my life, from home building to social to being a full time dad," he said. "However, for a special occasion such as this where several of my good friends were being nominated for Best Dressed, I did try to jazz it up."
