In the midst of the Ladies Who Lunch crowd gathered for the Dec My Room fete at Tootsies, Robin Reimer stood out as a woman who follows the beat of her own drummer. Amid the frocks by Escada, Gucci and the like, Robin stepped out on the dark side. And she wore the look, oh, so well.
Robin opted for black lace leggings (a find in an LA boutique) and topped them with a Robert Rodriquez sleeveless top from Tootsies and a belt from the Katia boutique on Westheimer. Her Lauren Merkin clutch, the Claudia Laboa earrings and the CC Skye leather cuff all came from Tootsies. Her striped pumps are Louboutin from Neiman Marcus.
"I wasn't feeling like wearing a pretty little lunch dress," she explained of the hipster look. "Today, I wanted to be more modelish and sexy. I wanted this taller, leaner look, which is why I went for the black."
