Artist McKay Otto stood out like a reverse fashion icon amid the sea of suits in the ballroom of the Hilton Americas-Houston. And that was a a good thing. Tall, gray and handsome, McKay exhibited a stylish nonchalance in his attire for this World AIDS Day luncheon.
He topped his black denim jeans, a find at a boutique in Portland, Ore., with a Hugo Boss jacket. Further reflecting his penchant for travel, McKay accessorized with a neck scarf and shoulder-strap satchel, both purchased from a street vendor in Venice, Italy, this summer when he attended the Biennale International Art Exhibition. The stylish blue eyeglass frames were also from Venice, picked up at Danilo Carraro. He wore boots by R.M. Williams.
As for his personal style, McKay had one word to describe his look : Artist.
