A casual indoor/outdoor Super Bowl party was a fashion cinch for interior designer Lorie Elizabeth. "I just pulled things from my closet that I felt comfortable in," she said. The result was a casual chic look that began with a girly girl lace blouse from Cheeky Vintage and continued with Ralph Lauren jeans, Ralph Lauren turquoise belt and high-heeled boots by Gucci. Her leather and turquoise cuff was another vintage find from a shop in Aspen. "I scour every place I go for vintage pieces."
How did she select this outfit for an afternoon of football viewing? "I just pull things from my close that I feel comfortable in and things that are timeless," she said.
And what a closet it is. Lorie Elizabeth (who prefers not to use her last name James) has her closet organized into three "departments" — black, white and camel. "As an interior designer, I try to stay as neutral as I can be so as not to conflict with the interiors that I am working on," she explained. Workdays, you'll find her at McGarr Design.
