Looking fashion savvy was never as important as it was at Audi Fashion Houston, where dressed-to-kill fashionistas turned out in full force. Lauren Clark took the self-imposed high-style mandate seriously. She selected a black Catherine Malandrino frock, so sassy as to give new meaning to the traditional concept of the "little black dress." It was the perfect platform for the real fashion motivation of the moment — her hipster Giuseppe Zanotti booties from Tootsies. "I really wanted to wear these booties tonight," she said. And then there was the mega-embellished Versace necklace, so wickedly endowed with charms and links and chains that, as Clark explained, you can wear it only with black. It was the perfect accessory as was her shimmery silver suede Dior handbag from Saks Fifth Avenue.
