The ever-chic Carla McDonald — writer, TV personality and notable top gun PR exec in Austin — spends enough time in Houston to have a rich cache of friends here. So when we spotted her lunching with friends at Perla's Seafood & Oyster Bar in Austin, we simply had to ask her to join our Style File clique.
During last week's cold snap, she stepped out in a Ralph Lauren cashmere turtleneck, James Jeans, an Hermes initial belt and Christian Louboutin boots. Carla was a vision of casual sophistication in head-to-toe black.
Her accessories — a Chanel patent leather tote (large enough for her indispensable iPad) and Oakley lightweight sport sunglasses. Needless to say, she was the most stylish femme in the restaurant.
