It seemed that every woman worth her Manolos dressed to kill for the American Express/Alberta Ferretti event at Tootsies and Becca Cason Thrash was no exception. She stepped out in a sophisticated black cocktail dress, beaded in brass and pewter — a gift from her close pal designer Naeem Khan.
She dressed it up with what she calls a "throw-on" fur collar from Fendi. Her shoes were Dior. She one of her fave accessories of the season — fingerless leather gloves by Karl Lagerfeld. She says they are from the designer's private line. Those unusual pieces share closet space, Becca says, with a collection of fingerless gloves by Sermoneta of Rome.
