For pharmaceutical sales rep Suzi Hickey, the Night in Havana benefit at Ocean's presented the perfect opportunity for summer cool dressing. The invitation called for "Cubano" chic, a look that inspired across-the-map dressing. But for Hickey, the decision was simple.

She topped her white BCBG shorts (and she has the legs to wear them well) with a satiny, caftan-style top from Vivienne Tam. Her open-toed pumps, a clear foil to the shorts and a great look, were Stuart Weitzman. And the fashionable clutch was from BCBG. Her emerald green earrings, providing a pleasant jolt of color, were finds from Spain. 

"I chose this outfit because you can't go wrong with neutrals and then accessorizing with color," she explained. No surprise here that she adds that she loves solids, whites and creams accented with a splash of color. "I felt very Havana," she said, which is why she wore her hair in a side bun, an extra nod to the Cubano theme.

At Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Suzi says that she "typically goes for a chic and classy look that is a little fashion forward at the same time."

Her personal 411: "I'm in diabetes sales so in my free time I like to stay up to date on research and medical news. I love to work in my garden, take my dog to the park or on the Heights trail, and work out when I have time."
