"Casual chic" is always such troublesome dress code. Interpret it up? Or dress it down? The challenge was ably met by Kelli Blanton for the grand opening of Texas Children's Hospital's Pavilion for Women, an evening of cocktails, light bites and touring with docs.
She stepped out in a blue and white dress and white sweater, both by Pink Tartan, that she found at Muse. "I thought this outfit fit the description (casual chic)," she said. "The dress was blue with primarily a white clover pattern and it had a few pink clovers as well. Pink and blue for the new maternity pavilion!"
For the record, Kelli and Eddy Blanton are dedicated Texas Children's supporters. She has been on the committee for the Heal Sick Children Campaign and the family foundation, the Scurlock Foundation, made a significant contribution to that campaign with funds directed to the Pavilion for Women.
