As guests strolled the terraces around the Rienzi swimming pool overlooking Buffalo Bayou, the sounds of the David Caceres Trio filled the evening air. It was the annual spring party at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston's house museum of European decorative arts and paintings and, once again, it was a perfect night for outdoor partying.
This quiet soirée of genteel socializing over cocktails and hors d'oeuvres from A Fare Extraordinaire was chaired by Paige and Todd Johnson and Elizabeth and Barry Young.
As the sun set and the dramatic lighting around the pool terrace became more pronounced, guests took note of the Rienzi "R" logo lighted in the pool.
Guests dressed in their garden party best included Isla and Tommy Reckling, Elise and James Reckling, Lisa and Will Mathis, Aliyya Stude, Kirby and Scott McCool, Isla and Joseph Jornayvaz, Ann and Kevin Rafferty and Angie and John Reckling.
